I’m very excited to announce the opening of my new office. The address is:
1688 Meridian Ave
Suite 500
Miami Beach
33139

It is located on the corner of Meridian and 17th, across from the Macy’s, and just 200 feet from my old office. You can park at the same structure, but instead of walking out on Michigan, walk out on Jefferson, and enter the building on Meridian (See map below)

Due to your support and the success of my practice model, I have decided to go into solo practice. My associates, Dr Agatston, Dr Shaffer, Dr Trice, Dr Woolger, Dr Mechanic, and Rebecca Lormand, will remain at their current location; however, we will continue to closely collaborate with each other.
The purpose of this move is to fully implement the principles that have made my practice successful, and ultimately, provide you with better care. These principles include:
Coordinating your care to make sure things get done
Having the same people take care of you from visit to visit
Easy access and simplified communications
Empowering you to evaluate medical claims for yourself
Giving you all of your options when making medical decisions
Helping incorporate your values and preferences into a medical decision
Engineering the practice to be free from bias
My new team is trained with these principles. They work exclusively for you and ready to help you with any task, including:
Scheduling office visits, blood draws, diagnostic tests, and referrals
Prescription refills
Medical records retrieval
Work and travel letters
Medical questions
In addition, I have recruited a Nurse Practitioner from the University of Miami Concierge Medicine program. She will offer the practice services many of you have previously requested, including:
Office visits for friends and family (additional fees apply)
Houses calls (additional fees apply)
Home blood draws (additional fees apply)
To make communications simple, all members of my team can be reached at a single number and a single email:
786-471-8955
In the next couple of weeks they will be reaching out to you from these contacts to introduce themselves and answer any questions you may have. Feel free to call or text, and even leave messages after hours; they will be attended to the next business day.
I would really like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patronage, without which I would have never been able to do this. As of late, doctors in private practice have been forced to sell their practices to large health systems leaving behind their autonomy and drive. Those remaining in private practice do so by profiting from the sale of pseudoscience. Because of you, and the high value you place on critical thinking, I have the best of both world. Remaining in private practice without compromised good science.
As we navigate this transition, please keep in mind that my primary objective is to provide you with better care. Your valuable feedback and patience are truly appreciated.
