Lecture: How to evaluate supplements

Over the past twenty years of practice I have evaluated thousands of supplements; something I have truly enjoyed. I recently gave a grand rounds lecture at Mount Sinai in Miami Beach. The topic: how to evaluate supplements. It is a 50 minute lecture that reviews a 12 step process I developed. From watching this video hopefully you will begin to understand how I evaluate your supplements; how I tackle the problem and how my conclusions are derived. The take home message is: If we apply the same rigorous standards of evidence we use to evaluate pharmaceuticals to evaluate supplements, there are almost no supplements that make the grade.
